Pick by the distance it will be seen from. The 30 × 30 cm piece suits a hallway, a shelf or a cabin bulkhead, where it is seen close. The 50 × 50 cm piece holds its own above a sofa, a sideboard or a bed, seen from across the room. Both are the same glass and frame.

How big is each size on the wall?
The 30 × 30 cm piece is about the size of a vinyl record sleeve; the 50 × 50 cm piece is a little more than two and a half times its area, roughly the width of a kitchen chair. Both are square, both float a finger's width off the wall on their standoffs, and the boat fills the panel the same way in each.

Which size for a boat?
On board, the 30 cm piece is the one: it fits a saloon bulkhead or the panel beside the companionway, and its four standoffs take ordinary screws into a timber bulkhead. Keep it out of a hatch's direct sun and away from the galley.
At home, think about what hangs near it. A 30 cm piece next to a large painting looks like a tile; the same piece alone on a hallway wall looks like a jewel. The hanging guide goes through the walls one by one.
Does the design change between the sizes?
No. The design Tedooo draws is the same at either size; the studio cuts the pieces larger for the 50. A long, low boat, a narrowboat or a canoe, uses the width of the panel; a sloop under sail uses its height. Either way the boat is drawn to fill the square well.
The one thing that scales differently is the name: at 50 cm the script below the hull reads from across a room, at 30 cm from a couple of metres. Pick the size on the create page after you have seen the design, with both prices in front of you.
Questions this leaves
Can I order a size that is not listed?
Not through the site: the two squares are the sizes the studio cuts for. Write before you order if you have a space in mind that neither fits and a person will say honestly whether the piece would work there.
Which size do most people choose?
The 30 cm piece, by a wide margin: most of them leave as gifts, and most of those go to a hallway, a study or a boat. The 50 cm piece is the one for a living-room wall.
